MonoSol Rx is a leading drug delivery company specializing in the development and commercialization of film pharmaceutical and over-the-counter (OTC) drug products. The Company’s PharmFilm® formulations offer significant patient benefits, including convenience, taste and potentially greater efficacy. Each film strip is small in size — about the size of a postage stamp or less, utilizes drug taste-masking technology and can dissolve rapidly or slowly depending on the drug delivery desired.

The Company currently has commercialized nine film formulations marketed in the U.S. and Canada.

In the prescription market, MonoSol Rx is currently developing film formulations with its pharmaceutical partners and through self-funded initiatives. The development programs are focused on approved drugs with expired or soon-to-be expired patents, thereby extending patent life and protecting drug revenues. The Company intends to grow its leadership position in film drug delivery through the continued development of its technology, manufacturing capabilities, strategic partnerships and intellectual property portfolio.

The Company has a vertically integrated development and production infrastructure housed at two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
