MonoSol RX today announced the recent hiring of Madhu Hariharan, Ph. D, and Bruce Detwiler

PORTAGE, Ind., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ — MonoSolRx today announced the recent hiring of Madhu Hariharan, Ph.D, and Bruce Detwiler from Abbott Laboratories and Cardinal Health, respectively. Dr. Hariharan joins MonoSolRx as Director, Product Development. Bruce Detwiler joins as Packaging Engineer.

Dr. Hariharan was formerly a Senior Manager, Global Pharmaceutical Operations, with Abbott Laboratories. Prior to Abbott, Dr. Hariharan worked at Pfizer and Fuisz Technologies in senior research positions. Dr. Hariharan has extensive experience in orally dissolving tablet formulations (ODT), taste masking and other novel formulations.

Dr. Pradeep Sanghvi, Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development, commented: "Madhu Hariharan further strengthens our Product Development team. In particular his experience with ODT and taste masking enable him to make immediate, substantial contributions to our development efforts for our customers."

Bruce Detwiler was formerly Senior Project Engineer with Cardinal Health. At Cardinal, Mr. Detwiler developed the innovative and patented DelPouch(R) Technology. He has extensive experience in pouching flexible strips. Prior to Cardinal Health, Mr. Detwiler served at McNeil Consumer Healthcare. Mr. Detwiler is a named inventor on several US patents.

Dr. Tushar Misra commented: "Bruce Detwiler's experience with pouching flexible strips and with the Doyen Medipharm machine in particular make him an excellent resource for MonoSolRx. Bruce will spearhead in-house packaging efforts with our recently acquired Doyen Medipharm machine.
